The symposium will deal with the aerospace, automotive and railway industries, with a nice program full of lectures, visits and social activities. EUROAVIA Covilhã in Portugal is organising the bi-yearly Air Cargo Challenge. The Air Cargo Challenge offers higher education students the unique opportunity to develop a multidisciplinary and challenging project from its beginning to the end, to test their knowledge and, at the same time, it involves a wide range of challenges that students will find in their future professional career: technical, interpersonal, financial and strict deadlines.
To participate in the Air Cargo Challenge Competition, the team should design, document, build and fly a radio controlled aircraft with the maximum payload possible. The aircraft must take-off in 60 meters, fly over a field at least once and land safely in the place previously defined by the organization. The aircraft must comply with the competition’s regulations which include design restrictions such as motor-power limit.

The EMEAC is one of two congresses organized by EUROAVIA each year. Representatives from all Affiliated Societies (also prospective ones) are welcome. During congress the policy of EUROAVIA is discussed en voted upon, as are the status of societies and working groups. Each association presents its status in person or through a letter.

Fly-In Palermo is an event organised by EUROAVIA Palermo. It is a one-week event for 25 participants. The participants are members of the Affiliated Societies of EUROAVIA.
The program of the Fly-In consists, among others, of:
* Visits to sites of aerospace interest as research centers and military air bases. They provide opportunities to establish contacts, speak with professionals and get in touch with what complements the often theory-oriented university education;
* Lectures. Held by professionals from the aerospace field or professors, these lectures deal with various topics from aerospace history to current developments;
Parties and social events, because EUROAVIA is not just about aerospace education, it is a great place to meet people and have plenty of experiences.
EUROAVIA Munich will host the Fly-In Munich 2008, which will take place between June 7th and June 13th 2008.
The main idea is making new contacts, contacts between Euroavia members from different European countries as well as contacts between the students and the local aeronautical industry. The participants will be given the opportunity to visit different companies and research centers connected to the local aviation industry, whereas the social part of the Fly-In will not be missed out! Furthermore the program of the Fly-In will provide the participants with an impression of Munich and its surroundings.
